Now that you’re pregnant, your daily nutritional needs are greater but not exactly doubled. Focus on choosing foods high in nutrition quality rather than increasing your portion sizes. Continue to eat each day plenty of vegetables (5-6 servings), wholegrain breads and cereals (4-6 servings), moderate amounts of lean meat, chicken and fish (1.5 servings), low-fat dairy (2 servings), eat sweets sparingly and be strict with no happy hour rendezvous.
